Welcome to the University of Liverpool SIAM Student Chapter

The Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics has formed the SIAM UKIE Section in 1996 with the scope of promoting and supporting applied and industrial mathematics in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.

The University of Liverpool has received funding from SIAM to encourage students, especially postgraduate students, to get involved in research activities in the department. Consequently, we are in the process of relaunching the chapter within our applied maths department, and so, we need students to get involved and work as a team!
